The official grand opening blue ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. Suzy's School of Dance is located at 35 Lynnfield Street, in the Shoemaker Post Building, in Lynn.

Open House and Grand Opening Blue Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Techevolution

Techevolution, located in The Edison Building, 85 Exchange Street, Suite L12 in Lynn will hold an open house from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Their official grand opening blue ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. Drop by to see their new location, state of the art data center, network and meet their staff.

Lynn Museum Presents a Special Viewing of Exhibits at the Nahant Historical Society

Members and friends of the museum are invited to a special evening viewing of exhibits at the Nahant Historical Society, 48 Valley Road, Nahant. On view are the new award-winning permanent exhibit Nahant on the Rocks and the temporary exhibit “Enlisting a Nation: WWI Posters. Parking for the evening will be available at St. Thomas Aquinas Church with a shuttle bus carrying visitors to the Historical Society building on Valley Road between 6:30 and 9:30. Lynn Museum Presents Voices from the Past

The MISCfit Studio Actors with Debra Crosby will do dramatic readings of primary source materials from the Jewish Historical Society of the North Shore and from the Lynn Museum & Historical Society in a program entitled Voices from the Past in conjunction with the Lynn Museum’s exhibit Different Journeys, Common Bonds: The Jewish Community in Lynn 1850-1950. This exhibit, on display in the changing exhibit gallery of Lynn Heritage State Park Visitors Center from September 12 through December 1, is co-produced by the JHSNS. The program will be at the Visitors Center, 590 Washington Street, on Thursday, November 11 at 7:00 PM.  For additional information call the Lynn Museum & Historical Society at (781) 592-2465. 
 
Holiday Craft Fair

Catholic Charities SENIORWORKS Program

SENIORWORKS is a training and employment program for people over the age of 55 sponsored by Catholic Charities North. People are given a community service placement where they build skills, develop new skills and receive training to help make them more employable and more competitive in today’s job market. They are looking for merchants and private industry who would be willing to interview and possibly hire the people from the program. For more info call project coordinator Elaine Appleton at 781-581-3350.
